How does a person become a Christian?
It is a miracle and mystery that we can never understand while at the same time a simple act of faith. Here are the ABC's of becoming a Christian:

A- Admit to God that you are a sinner. (Romans 3:23 says that "All have sinned and fallen short of God's glory")

B- Believe that Jesus died in your place for our sins and that God raised him from the dead and He conquered death. (Romans 5:8 says that, "While we were still sinners, Christ died for us").

C- Commit your life to him through prayer. (Romans 10:9-10 says, "If you believe in your heart and confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, you will be saved"). If you believe then you can confess it with your mouth through prayer. There is no certain prayer to say but it does need to include the following:

Tell God that you believe in him. Tell him that you are sorry for your sins. Ask him to forgive you and cleanse you. Ask him to be Lord of your life. Commit to living for him. Thank him for saving you.
